The SMART goal that I chose to work on, this week is:

“Giving 3 hours a day for the preparation of a scholarship application, I need to apply to at least one scholarship every month.”

I am passionate about Immunology and ultimately I want to do PhD. in the same subject. I want to study Immunology from a foreign country because they have the latest technology and are pioneers in the field. I am interested in studying this, also because I want to develop cheaper alternatives so that poorer sects of Pakistan can benefit from it.

I usually procrastinate and end up missing the deadline or submitting a lousy application.

It felt good finally being able to start it and to have done something. This is the most I have worked on it in a long time.

The challenges that I faced while completing this week’s tasks included the amount of time comsumed while browing through just one scholarship.

I learnt that, in order to make a list, I need to hasten this process or else I don’t get much done in the alloted time period.

The next step is to narrrow down one scholarship for the month of April. Another step is to work on the motivation letter that I have to use for the application.
